The resources linked on this portal are a selection of materials developed for rural regions and small towns by the NADO Research Foundation and its partners during the Sustainable Communities Learning Network capacity building program. You’ll find publications, webinars, workshop materials and other information on a variety of topics and themes including economic resilience, entrepreneurship, community engagement, downtown redevelopment, food systems, and many other areas. While designed to assist the grantee communities of HUD’s Sustainable Communities Initiative, these materials should be helpful to planners, economic developers, elected officials and local residents working to improve and strengthen their small towns and rural regions.
